Capture the Parents
In 2012, Livestock ran a photography competition with a difference. Children are often the subject of photographs. Here the tables were turned and children up to the age of seven took pictures of their parents. From over 200 entries, the best were displayed at The Dome as part of The Children’s Festival, April 2012. The judges included Zoe Ball and Lord Bassam.
In addition, the company ran Connected Families, a series of workshops funded by The Big Lottery Fund. These involved participants taking photos of each other in order to share different images of family relationships, which were printed out to take away.
